Autumn is calling

Autumn is calling and the leaves they are a-falling.

Few things makes me happier.

As strange as it may sound, I always feel born again in the autumn. I love the colours.

The crisp air.

Peeking into a garden.
Peeking into a garden.

I feel like an intruder, as I’m pointing my camera into other people’s gardens when passing them by, stealing some of their beauty for my own keeping.

This workbench looks welcoming somehow.
This workbench looks kind somehow.

There’s something about the intersection between the cool blacks, blues, and greens when met with warm yellows, reds, and browns.

Memories of summer.
Memories of summer.

I know that this colour palette won’t last long, probably only for a couple of weeks.

What is good that also last forever?

A swing is a thing.
A swing is a thing.

Eternity is overrated, in my opinion.

It’s the passage of time that gives the temporary its value. And it’s beauty.

This roe deer stopped long enough under the apple tree for me to take a photo.
I gave the roe deer a name, Newton.

Autumn is calling, but I’m sure that this roe deer cared more for fallen apples instead of leaves.

All photos are taken with a Canon 5D MkII and a 50mm 1.8 lens.
